Lee Cannan is an Actuary with over 20 years of financial reporting experience within the insurance industry. Originally from South Wales, he is currently living and working in Bristol.
When not in the office, Lee enjoys spending time outdoors and is a keen runner, hiker and diver. It was whilst living in Hong Kong that he developed an interest in ocean and marine conservation, seeing first-hand the impact that plastic waste and discarded fishing nets were having on the local beaches and shoreline.
Lee has recently spent time helping out as a volunteer at ORP’s Marine Turtle Rescue Centre at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu. As Treasurer, Lee is passionate about utilising his skills and experience to ensure that ORP continues to develop and succeed in its aims to protect sea turtles and their habitats.
