Azzam, from Malé, is an accounting and finance professional with over 15 years of experience across financial accounting, audit, taxation, and financial management in both corporate and professional services environments.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in financial reporting, cash flow management, audit coordination, tax compliance, and process improvement, while leading finance teams and overseeing payables operations.
In addition to his finance leadership experience, Azzam has supported enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations through business process mapping and stakeholder engagement, combining strong technical accounting knowledge with a passion for improving systems and operational efficiency.
Azzam holds a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and has completed the Applied Skills level of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
As Treasurer of ORP Maldives, he supports the organisation’s financial governance, helping to ensure sound financial management and accountability as ORP continues to grow.
