Sky is a mature male green sea turtle. Our first documented sighting of Sky was on 2nd April 2014, but he might have lived around Kuredu for way longer than that. With around 100 cm shell length he is also one of the biggest sea turtles that we have recorded in Lhaviyani Atoll. He can often be seen by divers on the House Reef of Kuredu, where he likes to sleep in an overhang. All the divers always say ‘We have seen a huge turtle’. Yes, that is Sky!
