Turtle ID: GR602
Mara is still a juvenile with 55 cm shell length. Even though we can’t tell yet if she is a male or a female, one thing is certain: she is one lazy turtle! Her absolute favourite spot is a small overhang covered with corals on the Kuredu House Reef. She is seen there by our marine biologist all the time. However, for the untrained eye it might be difficult to find her. She is wedged into the reef so that often you might just see a flipper sticking out. But when you know what to look for you will find her easily.
