Enzo

Enzo, adult female hawksbill

Turtle ID Code: HK176

When Enzo was first sighted on Kuredu’s house reef, back in 2014, she was already a fully grown adult female hawksbill turtle with a shell length of 60cm. It wasn’t until March 2017 that we started seeing her regularly on the reef, but she has been resident here ever since then. She is easy to tell apart from other turtles because of a chunk missing from her shell on the back left side. We don’t know what happened to her as she already had it in 2014, but her life seems to be trouble free on the house reef. She shows no fear of snorkelers, letting us easily take her picture! We have also met Enzo in Kuredu lagoon munching on seagrass with the green sea turtles!
