
Mary Anderson is a social impact advisor with almost a decade of experience working with the United Nations, NGOs, and the private sector. She is currently working at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Mary is deeply passionate about creating innovative and impactful strategies that support a sustainable future for people and the planet. Across her various roles she has mounted effective and transformative initiatives including delivering an ambitious COP26, securing the largest ever philanthropic donation to conservation in history, and negotiating historic UN General Assembly resolutions including the declaration that established access to a healthy environment as a universal human right. Mary is excited to leverage her experience building partnerships and unlocking funds for bold solutions as a trustee.
In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time outdoors, amateur banjo playing, and studying Mandarin. She holds a Masters in Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
